Whole-home renovation

Old houses in the valley are worth saving. We save them without pretending it is 1870.

Half the work we do is on buildings older than the state highway. A farmhouse that has been added onto four times, a rowhouse with three layers of siding, a barn that wants to be a home. The work is part forensics and part restraint: keep the frame, keep the light, keep the proportion, and put the new work where it can be honest about being new. We open the walls before we quote the finish, so the number we give you survives contact with the building.
